The developers said that the value in SPEC_AutoRouter.xml was not intended to be changed, and they cannot guarantee that air gaps will always be recognized as such if this value is changed. So we cannot recommend changing that file. I previously noted "What is seen on Raceway Router and in the Description field on reports is set by the CAT_Virtual_Connection_Descr_EN.xml." That leaves the raceway ID seen on reports, and you could consider using a BeforePrint script to replace "Air Gap" with "Free Air" in the ID column.
