Product(s): Promis.e, Bentley Substation Version(s): through 08.11.13.96 Environment: N/A Area: Component Management Subarea: Catalog Manager Background The Import Catalog tool restores catalogs from archive files (.CTLG) created by the [[Export Catalog]] tool. Steps to Follow 1. For importing Catalogs to Promis.e / Substation go to Catalog Manager from Design >> Catalog Manager >> Import Catalog , for reference see the below image. 2. In Import Catalog dialog select the Catalog ".ctlg" file to be imported by browsing to the file location by clicking browse against Catalog File . Then browse to the file location and select Open . 3. Then select the Target Path according to location where you would like the Catalog to be located according to your requirement by selecting browse and select the folder where you the Catalog files need to be imported and select Ok . Or if you want to import the Catalog to Existing Catalog check the option To Existing Catalog and Select the Existing Catalog from the Drop Down list and select Ok (for importing to existing Catalog this will be last steps). Note: The Catalog file can be imported to local / network location according to the requirement. Existing Catalog reference image. 4. Next specify the name for the Catalog in Catalog Name and select Ok on Import Catalog dialog to import the Catalog. Click the Help button for more details.
