Hi Neil, try to create new project and see, if everything is working properly. The software should show you only families from catalog, as no family were used before. If in "fresh" project it works, then it might be related to obsolete family stored inside the project. Try to update family in the project (not catalog): Eventually try to replace family 1:1 (=using the same old/new family name): HTH Wojtek

BRCM includes a metric and imperial dataset including items from manufacturers and generic content where the user enters dimensions. Can we change or add to the raceway content? Content is based on XML files which can be edited by the user. Can files be converted to PDS v7 to include in a PDS project? BRCM files are in MicroStation DGN format which can be saved as v7 files. What version of MicroStation is required for BRCM? MicroStation is built into BRCM, so no separate purchase or install of MicroStation is required. What kind of 3D models can you use with BRCM? The models in BRCM are in DGN format. BRCM can attach any DWG or DGN file as a reference file. What kind of database does BRCM use? SQL Server database. Are Oracle databases supported? What's New Highlights Components Center (Technical Preview) Components Center is a cloud-based digital component library and catalog management service. It allows users to efficiently manage their digital component libraries while providing their designers with approved, proprietary components as well as manufacturer's content via subscriptions. Components Center users can create their own organization catalogs and populate them with content provided by Bentley or upload custom content to share among all their users. Both Raceway and Equipment can be downloaded from Components Center. The first time a raceway is routed or an equipment placed, the catalog will be downloaded to a local cache folder making it faster to insert the next time you route raceway or place equipment. Enhanced Cable Routing When routing cables the software will now consider the minimum bend radius of the cable. You can specify the minimum bend radius in the Options > Cable Data > Cable Types dialog. After visualizing routed cables you can now update the calculated lengths to include the bend radius. Enhanced i-models We now include raceway cable fill information in i-models so that the information can be reviewed in Navigator. Flexible Equipment Level Assignment You now have the ability to set the same level for equipment and equipment IDs in the Options > CAD Standards > Levels dialog. Enhanced Raceway Labeling You can now display the position of any raceway as defined in the grids of the Duct Bank or Raceway Router dialogs in Raceway ID labels. i.e. "A1" would represent a position defined by column "A" and row "1" in the routing dialog. The following tools now allow you to include the "Position" attribute in the ID Settings: Duct Bank Router Raceway Router Raceway IDs New Place Equipment API This new API allows you to specify an equipment name and position to automate the placement of equipment. public Equipment.
