Hi, I would like to display the Wire Tag, Guage and Colour as apart of my Wire Label. I have set up this expression via Wire Display options, however, I was wondering if I can have any control on the size of the font that is displayed. I would like to have the Guage and Colour display with a smaller size font compared to Wire Tag number. Any assistance would be appreciated. Jess

Hi Jessica, You can makes the changes for the Wire Number Font, Size and color from Standards under Project Option's, the command can be found under Project Manager >> Project Options >> Standards >> Text Settings >> Mode >> Wire Number - Edit . wow, to be honest, my father started from a small team, and then he created an organization that now is going to use IT outsourcing for functions ranging from infrastructure to software development, maintenance and support. For example, an enterprise might outsource its IT management because it is cheaper to contract a third party to do so than it would be to build its own in-house IT management team.

Hi, friend. In fact, there is no perfect pricing model, as nothing happens in the way you imagine... For example, I tried to combine this three models listed on the site with the the best outsourcing pricing model in IT , however, nothing happened... Seriously, in fact you have to follow the single possible model that depends on your business. If it's long term cooperation - then Open Book pricing model is perfect for you. However, I guess that you can read the information from that site on yourself, and the information from that article matches the real life. I wish you good luck!

I want to restore projects I've backed up in V8i and restore into Connect Edition. Have I misunderstood the simple instructions in the above link?

Hi Doug, You can restore the Projects from Promis.e V8i SS7 or SS8 to Promis.e CONNECT by directly right click on the My Projects then you get the Project restore option. Thank you both for your answers, I was being too literal when following the instructions here https://communities.bentley.com/products/electrical___instrumentation/w/electrical_and_instrumentation__wiki/10123/restore-project I just needed to right click on the parent folder of the project folder I wanted to restore, that's how the Restore Project option is accesed. When restoring I got the following. When I press OK this happens after a minute, The contents of C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Promise CONNECT Edition\Configuration\Datasets\Promise\Config\LastError.txt are, Void ShowError(System.Exception, System.Text.StringBuilder): Object reference not set to an instance of an object. 0: at ECT.ECAD.DAL.ErrorLog.ShowError(Exception e, StringBuilder sb) 1: at ECT.ECAD.DAL.ErrorLog.ShowError(Exception e, Int32 iCase, String userinfo) 2: at ECT.ECAD.DAL.RestoreData.OpenTargetConnection() 3: at Bentley.Electrical.API.Base.RestoreServiceBase.RestoreOnlyDatabase(String shortProductName, String sTargetName, String sToPath, String prjdbfile, Int32& newid) What is this error and how do I resolve it? Thanks Doug EDIT: This prompt is now popping up and asking for the password to our V8i database, the project I'm trying to restore above is from that V8i database.
